Tie Up is an all-natural six-product amino acid and mineral pre-work supplement.
The formula in Tie Up works as a dilator of the small arteries of the muscles of the heart and body. Adenosine, Nicotinic acid, and DADA all are dilators of blood vessels that supply the muscles. The reduction in vascular resistance produced by these agents leads to an increase in the ease of oxygen supply, blood flow, and also muscle perfusion. This increased blood flow leads to increased CO2 and lactic acid removal, which reduces fatigue and muscle damage during extreme work periods. Magnesium and potassium aspartates are used in the treatment of exhaustion in hounds , and of the potassium-sodium imbalance, which accompanies these states of fatigue. Selenium and potassium aspartates are potent anti-oxidants and assist in limiting muscle damage (Azoturia - "TIE UP") incurred as a result of extreme work.
Dosage and Administration:
Administer on the advice of a veterinarian. The usual dosage for adult horses is 2 ml once or twice weekly.
Can also be administered four to six hours prior to hard work.
